CONNECTING THE COMMUNITY

Born from personal loss, Melissa’s mission is to provide resources, support, and hope for those who are struggling, have struggled, or have lost a loved one to suicide.

 

Melissa, an Emporia native, is deeply connected to her community and takes pride in being part of a close-knit town that stands together through both triumphs and challenges. Her personal passion is to prevent other families from experiencing the pain of losing someone to suicide, ensuring that no one feels alone in their darkest moments.

Living in Emporia with her two children, Melissa values the strong support system of family and friends that surrounds her. Whether she’s out in the community sharing ideas on strengthening local connections or enjoying a drive in her Mustang, Melissa remains committed to fostering a community that supports, uplifts, and inspires hope.

Our team is dedicated to making a difference in the lives of individuals who are struggling. As a passionate group of advocates, we work tirelessly to provide support, raise awareness, and advocate for policies that help prevent suicide. With compassion and empathy at the core of everything we do, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and offer a safe space for those in need.
