Born from personal loss, Melissa’s mission is to provide resources, support, and hope for those who are struggling, have struggled, or have lost a loved one to suicide.
Melissa, an Emporia native, is deeply connected to her community and takes pride in being part of a close-knit town that stands together through both triumphs and challenges. Her personal passion is to prevent other families from experiencing the pain of losing someone to suicide, ensuring that no one feels alone in their darkest moments.

Whether she’s out in the community sharing ideas on strengthening local connections or enjoying a drive in her Mustang, Melissa remains committed to fostering a community that supports, uplifts, and inspires hope.

As a passionate group of advocates, we work tirelessly to provide support, raise awareness, and advocate for policies that help prevent suicide. With compassion and empathy at the core of everything we do, we aim to break the stigma surrounding mental health and offer a safe space for those in need.
