Beacon for Hope Suicide Prevention advances the conversation around proactive suicide prevention and mental health education through outreach, education, and action.

THE FACTS
Suicide is on of the leading causes of death in the United States.
According to the Center for Disease Control and Prevention, many adults think about suicide or have made an attempt. In 2022, it is estimated that 13.2 million people in the U.S. seriously thought about suicide, including the 3.8 million that made a plan for suicide and the 1.6 million who attempted suicide.
